Much like Storm Claudia hit the northwest the prior day, Manchester City overwhelmed Manchester United aside at the Etihad Stadium. It was a convincing 3-0 triumph for their manager's side owing to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a performance that truly announced their title credentials as they consolidated their standing at the league summit.
